SkyNet Worldwide Express Indonesia is operated by Hantaran (PT Chaya Hantaran Nusantara) which is a subsidiary of PT Chaya Interfreight Cargo. This company and its services add to our portfolio to better serve our customers, and meet their business needs through our group company's one-stop service. Below is the history of the company and its group.
2006
Andriansyah formed PT Chaya Interfreight Cargo and established his first service in Jakarta, Indonesia. It all starts with commitment, clear vision and dedication of our founder, initial management team and all individuals through operations excellence to overcome challenges and meet customer expectations.
2008
Accommodating market growth and business demand, Interfreight-Cargo has expanded its operations from the start to focus on the western part of Indonesia, to the east. Balikpapan (East Kalimantan) established as the center and presence of our eastern operations. This adds to the existing western operations in Batam and Jakarta.
2009
Having previously operated under agency operations, UPS Supply Chain Solutions launches its first joint venture operation in Indonesia with PT Chaya Interfreight Cargo as a local partner. Both parties formed PT UPS Indonesia to provide better and reliable service to customers in Indonesia.
2010
After the first successful operation with UPS SCS, another new joint venture entity formed with Japanese partners: Suzuyo & Co., Ltd. PT Suzuyo Indonesia was established and owned by both parties to operate in Indonesia.
2011
Adapt to the fast changing business and industry demands, express delivery operation license obtained. A completely self-owned new body is formed, PT Chaya Hantaran Nusantara. This company has a license to carry out fast handling of consolidated customs clearance, and national express delivery operations. Initially operated under the brand 'Interpack', has changed the brand to ‘Delivery’ since 2018.
2012
To complete the existing operational footprint in Balikpapan, Batam and Jakarta, it's time for us to reach our customers more effectively by establishing our presence in 3 new city in Denpasar (Bali), Semarang (Central Java) and Surabaya (East Java). Not only serving organic goods delivery operations, but we obtained a customs permit at the entrance point of Surabaya.
2016
As part of our commitment to our market and customers, Interfreight-Cargo adds new capabilities to complement its operations capability in freight transport, customs, and express delivery operations by acquiring a wholly owned warehouse facility in Jakarta, and set up warehousing services.
2017
Our own full operation without UPS Joint Venture partner. PT UPS Indonesia was disbanded to reflect the exit of the two parties to operate in different ways. This is a good strategy for Interfreight-Cargo to offer the market with our excellent service capabilities and a wider global network of reputation.
2018
PT Chaya Hantaran Nusantara (operating under the ‘Delivery’ brand) has signed a partnership with SkyNet Worldwide Express, to operate SkyNet Worldwide Express Indonesia . SkyNet Worldwide Express is the largest independently owned express network in the world, currently has a total 122 very loyal network member, and with the main gate in Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, London, New York, Miami, and Sydney.
